Joe originally studied architectural drafting, and free-hand pencil and charcoal drawing throughout his early education.  After many years pursuing a career in computer science, he has refocused his creative efforts on the study and accomplishment of realistic style paintings using both oils and acrylics. 

 

His works include the depiction of places, people and events on canvas and framed panel supports, and present a variety of landscapes, cityscapes, and still-lifes, with an occasional portrait or figurative painting.
